Custom
Content Development – External to Internal Training
Conversion
|
| Background:
|
The
client is a market-leading, 27,000 employee global insurance
and financial services company. The company provides
property and casualty, life, group benefits, and investment
options through broker and affinity relationships.
|
| Challenge: |
Each
year the client used external content providers to provide
training on key elements of the property casualty adjuster
process. The client requested a program that used internal
resources to save on delivery and student travel costs,
and improve training consistency and outcomes.
|
| Solution: |
DeSai
designed and developed a multi-day, classroom-based
facilitated learning event for adjuster. Working closely
with client subject matter experts, a design and development
plan was created and executed. A rapid development process
was used to create learning content quickly to meet
the client’s imminent training requirements for
both facilitators and students.
|
| Benefits: |
The
result was an engaging, multi-media learning program
that met project requirements and continues to provide
customized learning support for several new classes
each year. Travel savings have completely paid for all
training development costs. The client is able to hold
training classes at will to support increasing adjuster
capacity requirements. |
