Training for Change

In today’s marketplace, the healthy, resilient company is the one that is constantly facing change within it. The success of that change lies with the ability of each individual to face the altered demands and expectations.

Change within an organization causes people to feel cut off. Most of us prefer stability. We like knowing what tomorrow will bring. Change can lead us toward the unknown and the mistrusted. Organizational leaders are often caught up in the large picture of change without considering the impact each individual’s ability to change with it will have.

Each individual faces and deals with change in different ways. Some will easily make adjustments to align themselves while many will instantly feel ambivalence or even anger.

Along with the trend toward constant organizational change has come the creation of change assistance training. The best of these courses help individuals understand:

  • What is changing
  • What is the big picture generating the change
  • What is the individual’s role in the change
  • What feelings the change has caused and how it relates to personality
  • What the actual affect of the change is
  • What strengths an individual possesses to deal with the change successfully
  • What steps are important to regain balance and excitement

Through change assistance, individuals become reconnected to their job and the organization. They begin to feel empowered again by recognizing the choices and contributions available to them. This encourages excitement and a renewed commitment to the change and the overall success of the organization.

DeSai Learning can provide change assistance training to help each individual in your organization feel more empowered and excited about change.
