Learning, National Underwriter Company, Form Strategic
Partnership
DeSai
Learning, a leading provider of corporate education
products, systems and management services, announced
today that it has contracted to partner with the National
Underwriter Company (NUCO). Cincinnati-based NUCO is
a major resource center for learning information and
reference tools for the insurance and financial services
industries. The company, which maintains offices in
major U.S. cities, joins DeSai's extensive LeapNetTM
network of content providers as a strategic partner.
Since
1983, DeSai and its partners have helped strengthen
achievement potential for enterprises through the development
and deployment of technology-based education programs.
With establishment of the NUCO partnership, DeSai further
strengthens its ability to create learning strategies,
develop learning solutions and assist in brand deployment
for existing and future clientele.
Bill
Weinhoff, Director of Training Products for NUCO, expressed
the feeling that the partnership will be a major boost
to his company's educational product line. "We
expect to earn the business of many financial services
professionals who were either not aware of our offerings
or did not a have a convenient way to access them,"
he said. "DeSai meets both of these product development
needs for us."
In
addition to providing scores of Web-based courses for
inclusion in DeSai's catalog of more than 2000 learning
events, NUCO will make Web-based texts, CE exams and
a variety of industry-related publications available
to employees of DeSai corporate university clients.
The materials will serve to help develop and strengthen
work-related skills.
