DeSai
CEO Addresses Trainers' Roundtable
Jatin
DeSai, CEO of DeSai Systems, was the keynote speaker
at the June 15 meeting of the Trainers' Roundtable in
Boston, Massachusetts. He presented a case study focusing
on DeSai client, The Hartford Insurance Group, and that
corporation's successful transition from an internal
training organization to a corporate university.
In
his presentation, DeSai addressed the logistics of preparing
for transition to a corporate university, the design
and implementation of strategies, content development
techniques, learning methodologies, and knowledge management
and maintenance procedures.
Among
those attending the presentation were learning executives
from AT&T, The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and
Liberty Mutual Insurance. Mr. DeSai has been a speaker
and presenter at numerous learning conferences throughout
the United States.
The
Trainers' Roundtable was founded in 1990 by training
professionals intent on providing all trainers an opportunity
to share program ideas and resources and to remain abreast
of human resource issues and trends. The organization
has invited DeSai to speak on other corporate university-related
subjects early in 2002.
