Who Are Your Leaders?

Leadership training is very prevalent. However, it is often offered to only a very small portion of the organizational population and limited to those bearing titles of leadership. Unfortunately this does not do anything to enhance the leadership contributions of the rest of the organization or help it prepare adequately to meet future demands for executive leaders.

Leaders exist everywhere and require the same cultivation as those in top positions. In most any working environment, natural leaders emerge. They possess different levels of influence and that influence grows if nurtured and managed.

Potential leaders are found in:

  • Every corner of the organization
  • Obvious talent
  • Suppressed talent

In addition to the development of the leadership skills that make the company work better in the present, thought must also go to future executive leaders. Are the best candidates the most obvious? A search into the hidden talents within the organization followed by proper guidance and training establishes an adequate resource pool to select from.

Executive leaders rising from within possess:

  • History with the company
  • Knowledge about the organization
  • Support system already in place
  • Appreciation for many sectors of the organization
